Five Talents

Five Talents’ mission is to unlock sustainable transformation in some of the most fragile communities in rural Africa – in places affected by conflict, material poverty and deep inequality. Rather than short term financial fixes, Five Talents works with trusted local partners to create long term transformation through savings groups, literacy training, and enterprise. The charity’s programmes have empowered more than 300,000 people, mostly women, to learn to read and write, save regularly, start small businesses, and strengthen stability within their families and communities.

Five Talents currently works in Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, Zambia, and Uganda, and is committed to expanding financial inclusion, increasing female empowerment, and building long term economic and climate resilience. By helping people harness the power of what they already have, they support communities to grow businesses, create lasting income, and transform their futures.
