We have set out to do things differently by breaking away from the traditional high street model, but keeping the personal, small business values that matter the most. We believe legal services should be clearer and more human.

At Lyons Bowe, our vision has always been clear: to change how legal services are delivered to our clients, making them more human, more modern and truly built around people.
We specialise exclusively in Residential Property, Family Law, and Wills & Probate, because these are the moments that matter most to individuals and families: buying a first home, navigating a separation, planning for the future, or managing a loved one’s estate. These are not just legal matters, they are life moments. And they deserve a legal service that is clear, structured, and compassionate.
We believe that law should work for people, not the other way around. That is why we have built a firm where technology supports, not replaces, personal care. Where our team structure gives clients clarity, and our lawyers the time and space to do what they do best.
Everything we do is guided by our core values: innovation, ownership, and community. These values shape how we build our systems, support our staff, and deliver legal services that feel genuinely different. This vision is not just an idea, it is embedded in the way we work, the culture we have built, and the outcomes we strive for. Because we believe the best law firms are not defined by how many offices they have or how many cases they close, they are defined by how they look after their clients and how they make people feel. And at Lyons Bowe, we want our clients to feel supported, empowered, and genuinely cared for, every step of the way.
At Lyons Bowe, our values are not just words on a page. They guide how we build our business, how we support our people, and how we deliver legal services to every client who places their trust in us.

We are not interested in doing things the way they have always been done. From the way our teams are structured, to the technology we have developed, to the way we communicate with clients, innovation is at the centre of everything we do. We design systems that make legal services easier to access, more transparent to follow, and better to experience for our clients and for our staff.

We believe that accountability is everything. Our people do not pass the buck. We take responsibility at every stage of the legal journey, keeping communication clear and outcomes on track. Whether you are buying a property, applying for probate, or finalising a parenting plan, we take ownership of your experience so that it feels supported, not stressful.

We are proud of the impact we are making, not only in law but in the lives of those around us. From our Charity Will Scheme, which has helped pledge over £4 million to UK charities, to the apprentices and school leavers we train providing them with meaningful legal careers. We are always investing in the communities we serve. Because a great law firm should give something back and that starts with how we treat people.

At Lyons Bowe, our people are at the heart of everything we do. While every team member plays a vital role in delivering clear, supportive legal services, we introduce you to our Directors and Heads of Department. The leaders shaping how we deliver modern, structured, and genuinely personal legal support across Property Law, Family Law, and Wills & Probate.

Conveyancing is the legal process of transferring ownership of a property from one person to another. A solicitor ensures the transaction is legally sound, carries out vital checks, protects your interests, and helps you complete the process securely and on time.
First home schemes are initiatives like Shared Ownership, Lifetime ISAs, and the First Homes Scheme that help first-time buyers purchase property. They aim to address common challenges like raising a large deposit or affording mortgage payments. Contact Lyons Bowe to learn more about these schemes and how we can assist with the legal process.
The best length to fix your mortgage depends on your individual circumstances, risk tolerance, and financial goals. Short-term fixes (2-5 years) may have lower initial rates but offer less long-term security. Longer-term fixes (5+ years) provide payment stability but might mean missing out if rates fall. Consider your financial situation and seek advice from a mortgage adviser.
We offer transparent fixed-fee pricing for most property transactions. You can get an instant, detailed estimate online with no hidden costs — giving you full clarity before you instruct us. Click on "Get Estimate".
Definitely! However, when buying a new built you need to be aware that the buyers of your current property may not be comfortable with a completion on notice. You may want to consider “breaking the chain” i.e. selling your property before you complete on your new build. This may mean temporarily moving into rented accommodation.
If you are purchasing your property with a mortgage, property searches will be a requirement of the lender. If you are a cash buyer, then property searches aren’t a requirement but we strongly recommend that you take out property searches and a survey. Together, these precautions will help to mitigate the risk of running into unsuspected issues later down the line.
The Lyons Bowe Abortive Pledge covers your legal fees should your transaction fall through for any reason outside of your control. If your transaction falls through due to no fault of your own, your legal fees will be covered. All you will need to pay for is the disbursements you’ve already incurred up until that point (like searches) which will be outlined in your fee estimate.
Most property transactions complete within 8–12 weeks, but timings can vary. At Lyons Bowe, our structured teams, smart technology, and proactive updates help keep your transaction moving and avoid unnecessary delays.

At Lyons Bowe, we believe you should be able to reach us in a way that works best for you. Whether it’s a quick WhatsApp, an email, a phone call, or through our app, you’re always in control of how and when you connect with us.
