Lyons Bowe are proud to announce that we have achieved the Cyber Essentials accreditation – demonstrating to all our clients and stake holders that we take our cyber security extremely seriously.Cyber Essentials is a Government approved scheme designed to help protect organisations form the threat of the most common cyber-attacks.  According to a government survey, almost 50% of businesses have not implemented the government’s five basic security practices, such as maintaining firewalls and running anti-virus software.At Lyons Bowe we are continuously working on implementing and managing controls of our systems so that we are protected against cyber attacks.  Indeed, Cyber Security training forms part of our new staff induction programme, as well as continued training for existing staff, to ensure awareness on the subject.Justine Tipling, Operations Manager at Lyons Bowe said:“In light of COVID and the changes to the working environment with more work being conducted online, which has resulted in Lyons Bowe becoming, in effect, a “paperless” office, we had to take Cyber Security extremely seriously.  We want our clients and stake holders to feel confident that we are doing everything we can to remain committed to this scheme and the threats that we face every day.  A big thank you has to go to our IT company ITEC for the support they gave to us when applying for this accreditation and their continued support.”For more information on how Lyons Bowe keep your data safe please read our Privacy Policy or refer to the Data Protection section within our Terms of Business or call us on 01749 345756.
