Purple Elephant Family Support is a small, community-focused charity dedicated to supporting children and families inFrome and the surrounding Somerset villages. Through a range of inclusive services and activities, the charity works to strengthen families, encourage social connection, and ensure children have opportunities to learn, play and grow in a supportive environment.
Purple Elephant focuses on supporting local families facing challenges such as financial hardship, social isolation, poor mental health, or additional needs and disabilities. The charity works closely with other local organisations and community partners to reach families who need support most.
Purple Elephant delivers a variety of projects designed to support children and families at different stages of life. Their services include youth clubs, holiday activity programmes, stay and play sessions, 1:1 family support, befriending services and the well-lovedFrome Children’s Festival, which brings families together through creative and community-based activities.
